Posted on: May 31st, 2009 Now then, later…

Well, my jet lag from Italy ended today and I’m entertaining the thought of driving there next time to save myself from the trauma of losing my mother in the Atlanta airport.  She was last seen not wearing a new pair of Italian shoes as she boarded a flight back to Texas. As for me, I’m hardly working right now but, that is going to change on the 22nd of June as I will be embarking on a month long journey that will have me touring through the Northeast as a solo artist ( my first solo tour), then one show in Canada, my first time there ( note to self, learn Canadian language in an effort to appear worldly), then on to Germany where I will be joined by my bandmates as we suffer through the endless days of touring through some of the most beautiful parts of Germany and Austria. So, that is about it for now, I’ll be in touch when I have something of equal or lesser value to offer.

Hey, Monet! If you are going to the trouble to learn Canadian you should go ahead and learn German, too, since they are so similar! Glad to see you are doing well and I hope the family is, also. You still need to come to San Francisco or Sonoma County sometime.
Take care and have safe travels!

Ah, so that is where you are! I wish I hadn’t been so out of touch lately or I would have alerted my family in Italy to your presence there. Could of resulted in a nice home cooked meal for you. :)

Seriously, it’s great that your mom got to go with you. I hope y’all had a great time.

We miss you here in Madison, WI. Okay I miss you,. and so does my not-so-little girl. Isn’t it sad when your kids get taller and bigger than you are? Anyway, I see Wisconsin isn’t on your tour schedule until October *sobs* Could you please come closer to me than Eau Claire or Sheboygan? Love you, Monte.

We need a Monte fix, really bad in Milwaukee ,WI - we have one of the biggest music festivals in the country every summer- you would have as many fans here as you have in TX if you appeared
Love the new site - but how do I buy the latest CD?

    Monte,
I didn’t know you were a big superstar. I was flipping through the Observer today and saw that you are playing in August at the Granada? Very impressed! I don’t know you or what happened to your family but I will say a little prayer. You seemed like a very nice man and obviously very talented. Take care.

For those of you who have not seen Monter Live, well Let me tell you this it is worth the trip 2000 miles is nothing to compare with the show you will see.
Monter is one of the most talented Young Men I have ever seen with a Six String in his Hand. After seeing thousands of shows over the last 38 years,
I would learn German to See Monte In Germany.
